Opening Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 6  Tools Options

 

  1. Close all other applications, and launch Internet Explorer 6.
  2. From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

General Tab

  1. Type http://www.wildblue.net in the Address field.
  2. Click the Connections tab.

Moving to LAN Settings

  1. Click LAN settings.

Entering the Script

Internet Explorer 6 LAN Settings

  1. Check Use automatic configuration script.
  2. Type http://wpad.wildblue.com/wpad.dat in the Address box.
  3. Click OK.

Setting HTTP Settings

  1. Select the Advanced tab.
  2. Check Use HTTP 1.1
  3. Check Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections
    Note: These may already be checked. 
  4. Click OK to exit Internet Options. Internet Explorer 6 is ready for WildBlue service.
