  1. Click start
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click control panel

  4. Click Network and Dial-Up Connections

  5. Right Click on Local Area Connection and select Properties

  6. Scroll to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and highlight
  7. Click on Properties button

  8. Ensure that Obtain an IP address automatically is checked
  9. Ensure that Obtain DNS server address automatically is checked
  10. Click on Advanced button

  11. Under the WINS tab, ensure that there are no entries

  12. Click OK and close all applicable windows after applying settings.
