Summary

Use this article to edit or update personal information such as password or security question and answer for WildBlue.net email accounts.

Prerequisites

  1. Log into wildblue.net using the Primary email username and password.

Content

Login

  1. From the WildBlue useful gadget choose Account Management. The Account Management screen for the Primary user appears.
  2. Click Manage Your WildBlue Account.
  3. A login page appears.  Login in using the same email address and password as your Primary email address.
  4. To edit information on the Primary email address, click Manage My Account, or click Manage My Secondary Email Accounts to edit information on Secondary accounts.

Password Change

  1. Locate email account that needs to be changed.
  2. In the Password Change section, click the empty box labeled Change Password.
  3. Enter a password between 8 and 25 characters.
  4. Note: Passwords must consist of valid characters as displayed on the screen

  5. Re-type this password in the section marked Password Confirm.
  6. Click Save to finalize any changes made.
  7. Changessaved
  8. A message populates showing “Your changes have been saved successfully”.

Contact Email

Contactemail
  1. Click the area in the section marked Contact Email.
  2. Type a complete email address that is checked regularly.
  3. Note: ViaSat uses this address to communicate important updates to customers including billing invoices.

  4. Click Save to finalize any changes made.
  5. Changessaved
  6. A message populates showing “Your changes have been saved successfully”.

Security Question and Answer

  1. Click the dropdown arrow under the section marked Select a Security Question.
  2. Click one of the security questions provided or click “or create a custom question”
  3. If a custom question is desired, click the box labeled Or, create a custom question and enter a personalized security question.
  4. Note: The security question chosen will appear when the Forgot Password link is chosen.

  5. Click inside the box labeled Security Answer and type the answer to the chosen security question.
  6. Note: This answer must be provided before password information can be retrieved using the "forget your password" link from the sign in screen.

  7. Click Save to finalize any changes made.
  8. Changessaved
  9. A message populates showing “Your changes have been saved successfully”.
