Use this article to download and run the Oulook Express Configuration tool to configure Gmail server settings.

Prerequisites

  1. Must have an active email address at wildblue.net.
  2. Enable POP settings within Gmail.

 

Content

Launch Application

  1. Double click the PC icon to launch the application.
  2. If no icon on the desktop, download the application.

Run Application

  1. From the initial setup page, click Next to begin the configuration.
    2. Configtoolsetup
  2. Type the email account Username in the E-mail address box. 
  3. Type the name you'd like people to see when they receive an email from you in the Display name box.
  4. Click Next.
    5. Configtoolinstall
  5. The Ready to Install page appears. Click Install to continue.
    6. Configtoolpop Warn
  6. A reminder to enable POP settings in Gmail appears.

    7. Note: POP settings can be enabled after this application is complete. Outlook Express will not receive emails until POP is enabled.

  7. Click Finish to exit setup.
