Configuring a Dial-up Connection for Windows XP

  1. On the Desktop, click the Start button and select Control Panel

  2. Select Network and Dial-Up Connections from the menus.

  3. Click on the Create a New Connection button.

  4. Click the Next button to continue.

  5. Select the option Connect to the Internet radio button and click the Next button to continue.

  6. Select the option Set up my connection manually radio button and click the Next button to continue.

  7. Select the option Connect using a dial-up modem and click the Next button to continue.

  8. Type in WildBlue as the ISP name and click the Next button to continue.

  9. Type in the Local Phone number to ViaSat

  10. Type in the complete WildBlue User Name (john@wildblue.net), Password, Confirm Password and check the box for Use this account name and password. Click the Next button to continue.

  11. Click the Next button to continue.

  12. Click the Finish button to complete the Internet Connection Wizard.
