Summary

This article describes how to configure WildBlue Security Center to obtain program updates which insures that the computer is protected against newly discovered viruses and spyware/malware.

Update Automatically

  1. Right-click the WildBlue Security Center icon in the Windows system tray. The context menu appears.

     Wbsopen

  2. Click Open WildBlue Security Center. The Home page appears.

     Wbsstatus

  3. Confirm that the Automatic Updates status reads Enabled. If It says Disabled, click the Enable link.

Update Manually

  1. Click the Automatic Updates button on the left. The Automatic Updates page appears. 
  2. Click Check Now to manually request an update.
  3. Click Advanced for more detailed information on the Update settings.
