WildBlue.net First Time Sign In Help
Summary
Use this article the first time you sign in to wildblue.net.
Prerequisites
- The WildBlue equipment must be installed and the Satellite Modem provisioned.
- Installer runs the Optimizer to complete the installation.

- Launch a web browser from your PC’s desktop (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox)

The Manage My Account Sign-In screen appears.

Continue to the Account Creation section below.
Note: If something other than the sign-in page above appears, continue to the next step to manually access the sign-in page.
- If the WildBlue login page does not appear automatically, type http://myaccount.wildblue.net into the address bar and press Enter.
- The Manage My Account Sign-In Page appears.
- Continue to the Account Creation section below.

Locate the temporary login credentials from the installation paperwork.
Note: If you cannot locate the paperwork, continue to the Contact Support section below to retrieve the temporary credentials.

Type the temporary Username and Password information from the paperwork into the spaces provided. Then click Sign In. The Complete Account Setup screen appears.

Type a user name between 6 and 30 characters following the guidelines displayed.

Click the box labeled Password and type a password between 8 and 25 characters following the guidelines displayed. Then re-enter it to confirm.

Edit the display name as necessary.

Enter a complete email address into the box labeled Contact Email. WildBlue recommends using an email address that is checked often.
Note: This is the address WildBlue will send communications to, including customer billing statements.

Select a Security Question from the dropdown menu or create a custom question.

Type the answer to the chosen security question in the box labeled Security Answer.
Note: If customers use the Forgot Password link when trying to login, the system will ask this question and the answer needs to be provided.

Once all information is deemed accurate, click Complete Setup.

If any problems occurred and the account creation fails, continue to the Contact Support section below.

The Congratulations screen appears. Click Click here to get started!

Sign into wildblue.net with the newly created Username and Password. The Registration page appears.

Select the language email appears in using the Language drop-down menu.
Note: English is the default language.

Type the characters shown in the center of the page (captcha) into the empty box below it.

Review the Google Terms of Service.
Note: Google Terms of Service must be agreed to before validating the account.

Click I accept. Create my account at the bottom of the page. The Gmail inbox appears.

Click Start Page in the top left corner to access the Google Personal Start Page.
