How does WildBlue's Fair Access Policy compare to HughesNet's?

WildBlue measures your bandwidth usage over the past 30 days, on a rolling 30-day basis.  HughesNet allocates equal amounts of bandwidth each day.  With Wildblue, you can download or upload larger files, and your speeds will not be affected as long as your usage in the last 30 days is below the threshold for your package.  With HughesNet, you might exceed your daily limit with one large file download, and that would slow you down for the remainder of that day.

WildBlue is generally more accommodating to larger bursts of bandwidth usage.  HughesNet is more likely to slow you down because of their daily limits.
