Will I Be Notified If I Exceed My 10 Hours?No. There is no notification from WildBlue if the allotted hours are exceeded. You are responsible for monitoring and managing your own dial-up usage at this time. |
If I Go Over My 10 Hours, Will I Be Charged?No charge will be applied to your account for exceeding the allotted monthly hours. |
If I Go Over My 10 Hours, Will I Be Cut Off In The Middle Of Performing An Action?No. Dial-up access will not be cut off if the allotted 10 hours are exceeded during a session. However, after logging out, you will not be able to log back in if the10 hours have been exceeded. |
Can My Dial-up Session Time Out?Yes. After 2.5 hours, your dial-up session will automatically time out. You will need to login again to regain access to the Internet. |
How Does WildBlue Charge Me For The Dial-up?Once you have requested dial-up, WildBlue will place a recurring charge of $7.95 on your account for each 10 hour block, for up to 10 blocks per account. You must call in to Customer Care to remove the recurring charge if you decide to discontinue dial-up access. |
Is The Dial-up Amount Prorated If You Have The Product Removed Or Added Before Your Bill Cycle Date?Yes. Your prorated charge will reflect on your next bill. |
Is The Dial-up Amount Prorated If You Disconnect Before Your Bill Cycle Date?No, If service is disconnected at any time, the charge for dial-up will not be prorated or refunded. |
How Does The Dial-up Charge Display On My Bill?This charge will display similar to other products you have on your account, such as your service package. One line will list any prorated charges for adding or removing the dial-up from your account. Another line, if applicable, will display your prepaid dial-up charge for the month in advance. |
Can I Buy More Than 1 Block of 10 Hours Of Dial-up At A Time?Yes, you may purchase more than 1 block of 10 dial-up hours per month. A maximum of 10 blocks of dial-up can be added to an account at any time. Once a bill cycles, you will be provided with 10 additional dial-up hours for each block of 10 hours you have added to your account. |
What Login Do I Use To Configure My Dial-up?Your primary account username and login for your wildblue.net email. Be sure to include the @wildblue.net when configuring the dial-up. |
Can I Have Multiple Dial-up Connections With My WildBlue Account?Yes, but two separate landline phone connections will be necessary in order to dial two separate numbers. The usage for both dial-up connections will be added together, reflecting one total usage value on your account. |
