News - 09/15/2009 - WildBlue Wins Award at World Summit

We wanted to let you in on some great news we received this morning about an award WildBlue received at the 6th Annual Awards for Excellence in Satellite Management.  Our CEO, David Leonard, writes

At the Summit, WildBlue was awarded the “Broadband Satellite Operator of the Year Award - 2009”. This is the second time in three years we’ve won it! The award is based on criteria involving subscriber growth, top line revenue growth, overall profitability and brand recognition.

It is encouraging to receive recognition from peers in the satellite industry, and I accepted it on behalf of all WildBlue employees. This award reflects the effort that all of us collectively have continued to put forth to insure WildBlue’s ongoing success. It is an award we can justifiably be proud of. We’ll continue that well into the future.
