What Happens if I Exceed the Usage Thresholds under the Data Allowance Policy?If the Data Allowance Policy Usage Thresholds are exceeded, upload and download speeds will be reduced. For more detailed information and to read the entire Data Allowance Policy, click here. |
If the usage thresholds have been exceeded, when will my speeds return to normal?For all WildBlue plans, speeds will return to normal when Upload and Download usage from the last rolling 30 day period falls below 70% of the threshold limit. What activities may cause me to exceed my Usage Thresholds?Some activities are more likely to cause an account to exceed the upload and/or download Usage Thresholds under the Data Allowance Policy. Several examples are:

How does ViaSat notify customers that they may be close to exceeding their Usage Thresholds?You will receive a notification email at the contact email address ViaSat has on file when your usage reaches 80% of the Usage Threshold. |
